@Safaricom_Care your fiber network outages are now more legendary than zuku and always accompanied by false stories of quick resolution and temporary bundles allocation. Can you get your act together ๐
There was time when you sir, was a respected "wise man" in Kenyan politics. That day appears long gone. We barely can recognize the shell of the person we thought we knew. But that is a discussion for some other time.
The idea that you somehow can boil down what is happening in Kenya to a tussle between President Ruto on one side and Kenyatta and or the "masters from the East" on the other side is just downright lunacy. It shows a total misreading of the situation, or, palpable ignorance. Both are serious errors in judgement.
The Kenyans that have died and are going to die or get seriously injured on our streets don't give a rats behind about supremacy wars between President Ruto, Kenyatta, or "masters from the East". They don't, trust me. They are concerned about the untold levels of corruption in government that is eating Kenya alive, making it impossible to live. They are concerned about economic injustice. They are concerned with a perverted system that prioritize's the need for the rich politicians to live large at the expense of our children's ability to get an education or healthcare. I want you to look at the attached pictures. One represents the Kenya that the vast majority of Kenyans live, and the next one represents the Vice President's home that is in such bad shape, that your beloved government wants to spend KSH 660 million to upgrade today. These two pictures, in my humble submission, tell the real reason for what is happening today.
You see, this is not a game where you and your beloved government can pick and choose who your nemesis is. I hope you understand that. The stakes are higher. This is a struggle about who we want to be as a country. It is clear the president has his vision, which is a country where the ruling class, his family and cronies live with untold wealth, while the rest of the country figures out how to survive.
The rest of the country has a different vision. It's a vision of a united country with a common purpose and a shared brotherhood/sisterhood. A country where, I as resident of Nakuru County or Kiambu County, care that my brothers and sisters in Turkana feel just as part of Kenya and have equal opportunities in pursuing life as everyone else. That's the difference.
Time will tell which vision prevails.
@Safaricom_Care My home fiber is out for several hours now, with an outage affecting several homes in the area. I do not even have a call ticket, no. allocated or an ETR. We used to get a 5Gb for continuity. with tasks that relied on the connectivity. Such unreliable service.
