@ubiquitousnewt #2 also happens here in the US. They only discourage usage during peak hours with peak pricing. Summer peak pricing (5pm-8pm) is $0.3765/kWh versus non-peak (12am-12pm) is $0.155/kWh with mid-peak in between. It is up to me if I want to pay more or not… but I MAKE the choice

@guillermocarone @rieuxdeux I wouldn’t b surprised if it was pure rage bait or just because he’s mad. There’s certainly ppl who like it very cold but that’s not everyone. Ppl only want to b reasonably comfortable. Ppl want the place where they r staying to b an oasis.. a place of refuge. I certainly would.

@guillermocarone @rieuxdeux Yes those ppl exist but that’s not everyone. I have AC and try to limit it whenever possible especially when electricity costs more. when inside my house is 25C+ that’s when I turn it on enough to lower 1 or 2 degrees at night. I just like having the option to use it.

@guillermocarone @rieuxdeux That’s not true that people demand 18C when it is perfectly reasonable to have it 23C or 24C. You make it sound like the only options are 40C (no AC) or 18C (with AC). There’s a huge slot that people can choose from.

@gottasayitsover @benjamincowen No it’s not. I’ve been using it for 10 years on national and internacional travel and EVERY TIME I’ve been glad I had it. Always saved me time. As long as you travel once or two times per year it pays for itself.

@TheCryptoCPA That’s nice but how much can the average spending household expect to get in rewards? A few hundred to a thousand dollars worth of token if they are lucky.. Is that really gonna move the needle? for a business owner with heavy amount of transactions that’s different
