As a writer, I'm often asked on my travels why there aren't more Kenyan authors' works on sale on Amazon. As per Amazon's agreement with GoK, KRA takes 40% of royalties remitted to any bank account in Kenya.

The stretch between Makenji (near Kenneth Matiba Hospital) and Montezuma Funeral Home is a strict 50 km/h zone in both directions! At Thika (At Jomoko and Witeithie, it's 80 km/h). The speed sign is tiny and completely hidden behind larger vehicles.
The sign is there, but very small cannot be seen by all, especially when hidden by a bigger vehicle. Drivers demand a conspicuous overhead sign to avoid taking advantage of unknowing motorists. Okiya says that in 4 years, William Ruto has borrowed more than what Uhuru borrowed in 8 years. Here this ๐ค

I talk about this on my podcast. There is an assumption that all young people are "digital natives" and therefore tech wizards. But the reality is different - less than 40% of young people actually interact with any tech, and far fewer have any proper skill sets.
