Repost utk anak2 muda yg tanya apa maksud saya dgn "wisdom without fear". You should try it too. Boleh disebar.
Artificial intelligences do not undergo experiences, do not possess a body, do not feel joy or pain, do not mature through relationships, and do not know from within what love, work, friendship or responsibility mean. Nor do they have a moral conscience, since they do not judge good and evil, grasp the ultimate meaning of situations, or bear responsibility for consequences. They may imitate or even simulate, but they do not understand what they produce, for they lack the affective, relational, and spiritual perspective through which human beings grow in wisdom. #MagnificaHumanitas
leave it to indonesians to witness a railroad accident with a 100% women casualty and come to the conclusion that the problem is the fact that women has to work and not the fact that the government has failed to provide adequate public transport and an even spread of jobs
The future belongs to men and women of peace. Justice will always triumph over injustice in the end, just as violence will never have the last word, despite all appearances. #ApostolicJourney#Algeria https://t.co/Jp7UTUWUzj
#Indonesia: Deeply concerned by horrific acid attack on Andrie Yunus, the Deputy External Affairs Coordinator of the Commission for Missing Persons and Victims of Violence (@KontraS). Those responsible for this cowardly act of violence must be held to account. HRDs must be protected in their vital work & able to raise without fear issues of public concern. - @volker_turk
Trump's comment about Rob Reiner today really underscores that he's a narcissist. Someone this narcissistic can't fight for you; if you believe otherwise, you're a mark. You are just a pawn in his need for aggrandizement.
Ten years after he descended on his golden escalator, he hasn't brought manufacturing back. In fact, manufacturing jobs contracted this year. His biggest accomplishment this term — the Big Beautiful Bill — was just more tax cuts for the rich and slashing government spending for the working class. His political appointments have thus far been nothing more than concessions to wealthy donors who supported his campaign. Many of these people are building the AGI robots that will replace you in ten years.
If you dare to question him, he'll toss you aside like Marjorie Taylor Greene, no matter how much you stood by him in the past. He cares about nothing but himself. The most you'll get is a wildly racist remark on Truth Social, which makes you feel like he's fighting for you, but you are, again, meaningless to him. He feels nothing and believes in nothing except his own aggrandizement. His Saddam Hussein ballroom means more to him than policies that are supposed to help you.
In recent years, many young people have approached the faith through social media, successful programs and popular online Christian witnesses. The danger is that a faith discovered online is limited to individual experiences, which may be intellectually and emotionally reassuring, but never “embodied.” Such experiences remain “disembodied,” detached from the “ecclesial body.”
STEM resurrected the dinosaurs, soshum questioned whether they should, and business people decided that they should be theme park spectacles for families
The professionalism that our most senior military commanders exhibited with their silence today despite repeated attempts by Hegseth & Trump begging them to please clap was encouraging, and should be an example to all troops when they try to exploit them for partisan politics.
Ending Genocide, Enforcing Justice
The world cannot continue to pretend that reasonable solutions will be possible so long as Israel remains under the leadership of Benjamin Netanyahu’s regime. His government has overseen a genocidal campaign that has crossed the threshold of humanity’s most serious crime. Until accountability is enforced and the present path is altered, the prospect of genuine peace will remain obstructed.
At this moment, the most urgent priority is not abstract negotiations, but the immediate cessation of the ongoing genocide in Gaza and the lifting of the inhumane blockade that strangles its people. The United Nations Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory has already determined that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. There is no moral or legal basis to soften this language. Meanwhile, the International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant against PM Netanyahu for war crimes and crimes against humanity. The international community must recognize that words of condemnation alone are no longer sufficient. Justice must follow!
The logical next step is to ensure that these crimes are prosecuted before an international tribunal. Anything less would be an abdication of the duty to uphold international law and human dignity. Some nations in the West have begun to recognize the State of Palestine, an overdue act that tragically required the enormity of genocide to compel action. But this must not be the endpoint. The next decisive move is to secure Palestine’s full membership in the United Nations, affirming the rights of its people in the family of nations.
Only after halting the genocide, securing justice for the victims, and ensuring Palestine’s rightful place in the international order, can we begin to speak of a sensible, durable solution for all. Until then, the credibility of the international system itself hangs in the balance. For it is not only Gaza that is under siege, but also the very principles of justice and humanity on which our common future depends.
I express my profound closeness to the Palestinian people in Gaza, who continue to live in fear and to survive in unacceptable conditions, forced once again from their own lands. Before Almighty God, who commanded “Thou shalt not kill,” and throughout human history, every person always has an inviolable dignity, to be respected and upheld. I renew my appeal for a ceasefire, the release of hostages, and a negotiated diplomatic solution, in full respect of international humanitarian law. I invite everyone to join my heartfelt prayer that a dawn of peace and justice may soon arise.
