1/ Rhode Island just gave us another case study in why government-financed housing projects often fail.
The Ocean state spent $52.2 million to produce just 200 rental units.
I explain more in my latest for the @dcexaminer:
https://t.co/5BYcJD7hvd
6/ Rhode Island does not need another housing bond that enriches bureaucrats, consultants, and favored developers before Rhode Islanders.
Neither does Chicago, California, or New York.
If lawmakers want more affordable housing, the answer is obvious: Let builders build.
BREAKING:
The FBI says they are “looking into” claims made by Elizabeth Lane that she’s accessing FBI databases as a foreigner.
A Georgian Foreign national who advocates for Russia and Iran online named Elizabeth Lane is a regular guest of Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson. She describes herself as an “investigative journalist” but she’s really just a foreigner and a propagandist who spreads anti-Trump, anti-American and pro-multipolarity talking points online.
She just just said she has a friend who worked for the FBI who still has access to FBI databases and runs private searches on people she doesn’t like and wants information about…
Think about that. A hostile foreigner who called for a violent revolution in America says she’s getting access to FBI databases.
The FBI should arrest her if this is true and she should be deported.
Why is she allowed to live in Utah? @SecRubio
Deport her.
@ElkinsCattleCo@kaitlynolsker Never had Texas beef, would be happy to try and possibly become a @ElkinsCattleCo customer. I would share with my bride of 26 years and our children! Thanks for the chance.
Rhode Island legislature attorney Joseph F. Rodgers III said that the letters he writes responding to public records requests are "copyrighted."
Knowing & willful withholding of plainly public records. He should be fired.
🚨 JUST IN: President Trump announces executive order directing Sec. Scott Bessent to *SHUT DOWN* bank accounts used to facilitate illegal immigration or to give illegal aliens welfare
Trump is moving to DE-BANK illegals
LET'S GO, LONG OVERDUE 🔥
"Funds will ultimately face Impoundment and Seizure so they can to be returned to Taxpayers."
"It is not ludicrous, but profoundly dangerous, that any Illegal Alien can simply present a Blue State Drivers License, or Biden Border Document, and have unrestricted access to the U.S. Financial System."
"I recently signed a powerful new Executive Order, which will be led by the Treasury Department, to stop Banks, Credit Cards, and Financial Institutions from being used to facilitate Human Smuggling, Drug Trafficking, Illegal Immigration, and the Criminal Cartels who orchestrate these activities."
"Access to our Nation’s Financial Systems must be limited to those who have a Legal Right to be here, and who are engaged in Lawful and Legitimate Commerce. Bank Accounts being used to enable Illegal Immigration, or to store the Welfare received by Illegal Aliens, will be shut down."
"This also sends a clear message to the anti-ICE rioters that your violent disruptions are only strengthening our resolve. My Executive Order will also allow us to stop Billions in leaving our Country in all manner of criminal activity. It has been said this measure we are taking is the most effective means of reversing Biden’s Border Invasion. We shall soon find out!"
Bessent is going after fraudsters and illegals!
30k per pupil and decades of abhorrent systemic failure. RI as a State is 10th in the country for student spending and Providence is 10k higher than the average total used for that #.
Criminal abuse and educational malpractice. ENOUGH.
Nuclear is the only truly sustainable & clean energy.
Rhode Island's "green energy" climate extremists hold us back in energy dark ages while states like Tennessee embrace modernity, stability, & wealth.
Climate activist orgs can't profit off nuclear. That's why they hate it. All about their personal profits, not common sense policy.
Still waiting on the RI Attorney General to tell RI Legislature Attorney Joseph F. Rodgers that his responses to public records requests are not "copyrighted."
😂
He already knows that, of course, and just wants to abuse the law to withhold public records.
Almost 5 years to the day I had been working in a New York City Hospital
Took care of loads of patients that day, some of whom had COVID
I was healthy and testing my own COVID antibody levels [HIGH]
Had no interest in COVID vax, declined
Stepped outside end of long shift
Denied entry into two restaurants to eat because I didn’t have my “vaccine card”
Super hungry, had to walk almost half a mile to a convenience store to get some chips and candy to eat (literally the only thing!)
Y’all might be able to forget how crazy the world got. But I will never
And I’ll always have my guard up because it was the first time in my life I realized a supposedly advanced country with educated people was capable of extreme stupidity and crazy level rule-following
I spent over 35 years as a surgeon. I've seen what works and what doesn't. And right now, Washington isn't working for Rhode Islanders.
I'm not going to be extremely far right. I'm not going to be extremely far left. I'm going to be far normal which is where my constituents are.
Healthcare costs that crush families. A national debt our kids will inherit. Social Security and Medicare that need real solutions not political games. These aren't Republican problems or Democrat problems. They're our problems.
Fixing them will take someone willing to work across the aisle, put people over party, and never lose sight of who they actually work for.
WOW… this man says Lindsey Graham had s3xual relations with him in Hilton Head when he was only 16 years old.
He says Lindsey Graham knew he was only 16 but didn’t care.
He says he didn’t know who Lindsey Graham was at the time.
He provides date, time, & location.
WTF?
A young black man from South Carolina is accusing Lindsey Graham (and others) of multiple different kinds of S-Abuse.
Lindsey has a primary election one week from today, on June 9th.
Here is one video containing some of those allegations.
Pakistan formalized six overland transit routes on April 25 via the Transit of Goods through Territory of Pakistan Order 2026. Routes link Karachi, Port Qasim, and Gwadar to the Iranian border crossings at Gabd and Taftan. The Gwadar-Gabd corridor is just 2-3 hours to the Iranian border, with transport costs 45-55% lower than from Karachi.
More than 3,000 containers destined for Iran were stuck at Karachi port as of late April. They’re not stuck anymore — they’re moving overland.
The naval blockade of Iranian ports doesn’t stop anything that arrives in Pakistan and crosses by truck. And Gwadar sits roughly 400 km from the Strait of Hormuz. It’s a deepwater port. Anything can come in.
China’s been documented funneling drone and missile components to Iran throughout the conflict. The Iran-China 25-Year Cooperation Agreement provides the framework. Mahan Air — the Iranian carrier specifically sanctioned by the US for moving illicit government cargo, including weapons — resumed flights to Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou on April 26, operating multiple times weekly. That airline has a documented history of smuggling dual-use technology and military components. The flights are running right now, today.
On North Korea: the DPRK’s sanctions-evasion networks are among the most sophisticated in the world.
Front companies, flags of convenience, AIS spoofing, physical ship alterations, diplomatic pouch abuse — these are all documented in UN Panel of Experts reports going back years.
The North Korea-Iran military cooperation pipeline, particularly on ballistic missiles, stretches back to the 1980s. A nuclear device doesn’t need a cargo ship. It fits in an aircraft. And Iran’s airspace is not closed — it’s operating regular commercial flights.
The US has not imposed a no-fly zone over Iran. Mahan Air is flying three weekly Tehran-Beijing/Guangzhou rotations and four weekly Tehran-Shanghai flights.
The carrier secured alternative corridors through Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan, adding only about 40 minutes to flight time while bypassing conflict zones.
If you can fly sanctioned cargo airline flights from China to Iran multiple times a week, the idea that you can prevent a nuclear device from entering the country by air is a fantasy. A nuclear weapon core — even a completely assembled device — is not large.
The physics packages for early North Korean devices were estimated to be roughly the size of a large suitcase or small filing cabinet. That’s cargo hold material on any commercial flight.
