@jon_wunwun7 Conservatives sometimes talk about the plight of intelligent black people in the ghettoes, but this applies to any smart person in in America.
Every right-wanger on ecks used to post that No Country For Old Men quote about the rules being pointless because it brought "you" to "this" and then preceded to put intellectual stock in the idea of a "high trust" past of rules that definitely didn't kill itself at all.
The sign tappers who post that Don Draper "I don't think about you at all" meme stop themselves from enjoying things because of people they are thinking about enjoying those things.
@pophyrion You don't have to, scriabin couldn't see my reply to his posts either. I'm not sure what I posted to trigger the shadow ban I'm not even that prolific on here.
@scriabingroyper Imo Trump doesn't seem to be in control of much, but at the same time the admin is willing to act on his worst instincts (eg Iran, the ballroom shit). For instance despite his stupid pro immigration comments SM and fyppers at DHS are crafting their own acceptable (for now) policy
IQ is not at all an adequate measure of intelligence in its whole, but it must never be misunderstood that changing our current system to an IQ based one would have massive, immediate returns for all of us.
The whole thing can sort of be understood in this anecdote. I have kind of self interest he just doesn't. He wants to make himself useful to society, I don't. This is what boomers are constantly praising in immigrants, the submission.
@Foiblaet The effect of this is that every current year "lolcow" is really just a boring reject with odd hobbies but ones that can ultimately be understood by anyone under 25 who wasn't socially molested into thinking bullying is le good, nothing compared to someone like CC.
