His remarkable efforts in strengthening spirituality and fostering national unity have left an indelible mark on history. His Holiness’s pivotal role in revitalizing and strengthening the spiritual fabric of the Georgian nation is truly noteworthy.

Overseeing the expansion from 30 temples in 15 dioceses with a couple of dozen of priests to today's 2,000 active churches in 46 dioceses worldwide and a dedicated community of 3,000 monks and nuns, reflects his enduring commitment. Christians share a profound spiritual connection with him, as he ordains priests, and those baptized within 46 years of his enthronement maintain a special spiritual bond. Thereby making him a unique Patriarch in the Christian history having spiritual connection to almost entire nation.

Wishing His Holiness continued good health, longevity, and unwavering guidance in leading the Mother Church of Georgia.

მეორეს მხრივ კი, - სიხარულთან, რადგან 1991 წლის 9 აპრილს საქართველოს უზენაესმა საბჭომ მიიღო საქართველოს დამოუკიდებლობის აღდგენის აქტი და 9 აპრილი თავისუფლებისკენ მსწრაფი თანამედროვე საქართველოს ათვლის წერტილად იქცა.

9 აპრილი გამორჩეული დღეა ჩვენი ქვეყნის ცხოვრებაში. ერთის მხრივ, იგი დაკავშირებულია იმ დიდ ტკივილთან, რომელიც 34 წლის წინ რუსთაველის გამზირზე განვითარებულ მოვლენებს მოჰყვა და 21 ადამიანის სიცოცხლე შეიწირა (ღმერთმა ნათელში ამყოფოს მათი უკვდავი სულნი)
