The area of real competition between the US and China is in the western Pacific where the US has major bases and military deployments.
China is expanding in the western Pacific militarily.
Major economic powers like Japan and South Korea exist in the region.
Taiwan is a dangerous trigger point for a military conflict.
US provides security to this entire region.
In the sub- continent the US has no security obligations.
India has been standing up to China on its own.
By knocking Indo out of the Indo- Pacific concept the US has lowered its sights on China in our region.
The US has accommodated China in Pakistan. It has not opposed the CPEC. Unlike in the case of our defence and energy ties with Russia, the US does not threaten Pakistan on its defence ties with China.
Doesn’t use the IMF bailouts to Pakistan to pressure it on its China ties.
The US cannot counter China in the sub-continent without India.
But Trump is alienating India and talks of a G 2 in Modi’s presence in their meeting at the G7 in France.

He is treating the Akal Takht as superior to the Constitution of India.
He says he gave higher priority to the summons of the Akal Takht and not his appointment with the President of India.
Will the non- Sikh and SC MLAs of AAP also be made to present themselves to the Akal Takht and accept its religious authority?
The Constitution of India does not officially recognize or accept the authority of the Akal Takht.

Dr. Abhishek Shukla, Geriatrician, explained about snake bite and how to save life.
A tragic incident happened in my village where a woman had gone to the fields, and unfortunately, a snake bit her. She could not survive. This raises an important question — what could have been done to save her life? The biggest mistake was that the correct approach was not followed.
Dr. Abhishek Shukla explains the RIGHT approach for snake bite management:
R – Reassurance:
The first step is to keep the patient calm. Panic increases the spread of venom. Reassure them by saying, “Do not worry, we are taking you to the hospital.”
I – Immobilization:
Keep the patient still and make them lie down on a flat surface. Immobilize the affected limb because unnecessary movement can spread venom faster. Panic may also lead to falls, injuries, and bleeding.
G – Getting to the Hospital:
Take the patient to the nearest hospital immediately without wasting time. Most snake bite deaths happen because of delay in reaching medical care.
H – Handling Properly:
Avoid harmful practices like tying a tight rope, cutting the wound, sucking out venom, or applying herbs, mud, or leaves. These methods increase complications.
T – Telling the Symptoms:
Inform the doctor about the snake’s colour, size, hood, and symptoms like swelling, bleeding, weakness, or breathing difficulty.
India has one of the highest snake bite deaths in the world, but many are preventable. Doctors use the 20-minute Whole Blood Clotting Test (20WBCT) to detect venom effects. If blood does not clot, it may indicate a viper bite, and Anti-Snake Venom (ASV) should be given.
Snake venom can affect the body by causing neurological problems (cobra/krait) or bleeding and swelling (viper). Smart interns don't do internship they just pay to the department , get their logbooks signed and prepare for #Neetpg .
Hardworking interns are treated like unpaid labours .
It's good that these guys know it is allowed by the constitution, but it looks like they have forgotten that there are other rules and regulations as well.
You are allowed to carry a sword, but the moment you use it, your right is gone.
You were given this permission as a mark of respect for your culture and so on, but now it looks like some of you do not respect it and are taking it for granted.
Fix your home before it's too late. Some of these fake Nihangs are always high on drugs and beating poor people unnecessarily.
Please fix it ASAP.
Dr. Abhishek Shukla (Geriatrician) explained about ABG (Arterial Blood Gas Analysis)
Student: Sir, I am a https://t.co/jLND7YizOg. Nursing second-year student. I often see ICU patients undergoing ABG tests. A strip comes out, and doctors discuss acidosis, alkalosis, CO₂, and oxygen levels, but honestly, I still don’t understand how to read it. Why is ABG done so frequently, and how can I learn to interpret it?
Dr. Abhishek Shukla: Very important question, Riya. ABG stands for Arterial Blood Gas Analysis. It helps us quickly understand what is happening inside a critically ill patient’s body. If a patient is unconscious, drowsy, breathless, or deteriorating, ABG tells us whether the problem is due to oxygen, carbon dioxide, acid-base imbalance, or severe infection.
It requires only 0.5 ml of arterial blood, usually taken from the radial artery, and the result comes within one minute.
The first thing to check is pH. Normal pH is 7.35–7.45. If it is below 7.35, it means acidosis; above 7.45 means alkalosis. Severe acidosis can become life-threatening.
Next is pCO₂ (35–45 mmHg). If it rises very high, like 90, it means the patient is retaining carbon dioxide. This can lead to unconsciousness and is called Type 2 Respiratory Failure.
Then check pO₂, which tells us about oxygen. If oxygen is low while CO₂ is normal, it is called Type 1 Respiratory Failure.
After this, review electrolytes—especially sodium and potassium. Low sodium can cause confusion, while high potassium can disturb the heartbeat.
Finally, look at lactate, glucose, and creatinine. High lactate may suggest sepsis, and high creatinine may indicate kidney failure.
So always remember the ABG rule: pH first, then CO₂, then oxygen, and finally electrolytes. #ABG #ABGTest #ArterialBloodGas #MedEd #ClinicalSkills#ABGInterpretation #AcidBaseBalance #BloodGasAnalysis #NursingStudent #NurseLife #NursingNotes #AIIMSNORCET #mednotes #drabhishekshukla #geriatriccare

The project, worth ₹1.99 crore, was among 467 approved under the scheme in 2025.
