Please🙏🙏🙏 @BalaamBarugahar before making arrests though others have been arrested do you know that the capitation grant is released in the last month of the quarter. How do you expect those schools to operate for the first two months with zero funding.
Hon. Minister Balaam @BalaamBarugahar, as representatives of H.E. the President @KagutaMuseveni, we must ensure that our communication and directives remain aligned with his guidance and the resolutions of the NRM Caucus @NRMCaucus chaired by government Chief Whip @JaneRuth_Aceng.
During our August Caucus at Speke Resort Munyonyo, H.E. the President advised that schools should continue collecting approved contributions to supplement learners' needs until the next financial year, when capitation grants would be enhanced. This was among our Caucus resolutions.
I am therefore concerned about the emergence of directives that appear to differ from this guidance. Are we moving as one united government, or are we working in isolation?
Our education sector @Educ_SportsUg deserves thoughtful, coordinated decisions. The current funding remains insufficient to meet schools' operational needs, and we must strengthen capitation grants rather than risk decisions that could undermine education.
Let us uphold unity, consultation, and responsible leadership. Our children's future must remain our shared priority. 🇺🇬

The Learned Attorney General has thrown a spanner in King Nyabongo’s wheels.
The King’s will can’t just be wished away; it has to be followed and if there’s a contest over its authenticity, the same can only be resolved by the courts.
The Tooro constitution was suspended and remains as such.
Now the Babiito simply have to pull the move that Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema pulled; for the next 9 days, lock the courts and block that inevitable petition.
The rest of us commoners will grab copious amounts of popcorn, sit by a crater lake in Kasenda and take in the action.
It wasn't right to compare MK to the a biblical story of the prodigal son and pigs. He crossed the line there. Rwomushana forgot he is also named in Kiiza Besigye's case.
And Rwomushana has been arrested today
Dear friends, I wish to inform the public that the President of the Republic of Uganda, H.E. Gen. @KagutaMuseveni, has granted an official burial to His Majesty the Omukama of Tooro, King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV. Accordingly, the N.O.C is working hand in hand with the Tooro Kingdom and Ministers from Tooro to organise a befitting send-off. We shall communicate further details regarding the burial arrangements in due course. Our deepest condolences go to the Royal Family, the people of Tooro, and all Ugandans during this time of mourning. May His Majesty rest in eternal peace. BMB
Thank you, Your Excellency the Vice President @jessica_alupo , for officially opening the meeting of Local Government leaders and City leaders this morning.
Your support and guidance for the #ExposeTheCorrupt campaign are deeply appreciated. Your remarks have further motivated us to faithfully execute the assignment given by His Excellency President @KagutaMuseveni and to advance the policy of zero tolerance for corruption.
I also wish to affirm that my Chairman, PLU Supreme Leader Gen. @mkainerugaba, fully supports and provides guidance for this national campaign.
I call upon all Ugandans to rally behind Mzee, our joint security and anti-corruption agencies, in the fight against corruption. Together, by following the guidance of our leaders, we shall eliminate this virus and build a more transparent, accountable, and prosperous Uganda.

Uganda should consider making Konshens a Goodwill Ambassador. His love for Uganda is genuine, and during his performance at Reggae Land 2026 in the UK, he repeatedly gave shout-outs to “UGANDA” in front of a crowd of up to 100,000 people. That's the kind of authentic support worth recognizing. Big Love Konshens.
Museveni- I have 15 grandchildren. I wedded Maama Janet abroad with only eight guests at a luncheon. These extravagant weddings are going to disturb people. I urge religious leaders to address this issue through their preaching.
#UnpopularOpinion #818. Banyankore. When did we start asking the groom’s side to fund some aspect of Kuhungira ceremony? Abashwezi are asked to pay money to feed the groom’s entourage in what is known as “mwekunire”. If you can’t feed your guests on the give away ceremony of your daughter, how do you expect to be respected by abakwe? Kindly stop this “mwekunire” wave that’s demeaning our culture.
In Nairobi County alone, 36 Affordable Housing Programme projects are underway, and set to deliver more than 180,000 decent and units while creating tens of thousands of jobs and stimulating economic activity across the capital city.

Our school. Our children. Our loss.
Deepest condolences to the families and King David Junior School community over the tragic accident in Kapchorwa. Sleep well, little angels.
We are comforted by H.E @KagutaMuseveni compassionate support of UGX - 5M for the deceased families and UGX - 1M for the injured. May God grant them strength🙏
I extend my sincere appreciation to the Reverend Sister Catherine Namono , Headteacher of St. Peter’s Claver Senior Secondary School muyembe , and the entire school community of Bulambuli town council for the warm welcome and excellent work being done.
During our surprise visit to the school funded by Government , the Headteacher presented clear, accurate, and verifiable information. Everything shared was confirmed on the spot, demonstrating a strong culture of transparency, accountability, and proper management.
Thank you, Reverend Sister, for your dedicated leadership, commitment to the learners, and for upholding the values of honesty and integrity. Your service is a great example of responsible leadership in education.
May God continue to bless you, the teachers, students, and the entire St. Peter’s Claver Senior Secondary School community.

The problem with people like you, don't understand that professions like engineering are regulated and any genuine complaint should be passed on to the professional body to look into it. Professional matters are not handled like the way we handle rallies or events. Tomorrow you are likely to be in a hospital instructing health workers on how to do their work yet they have a professional body that regulates them.
We all want to fight corruption but let us do it without killing systems and processes that we have built over years.
