"Maybe this May will be the last of the bad months, before things start to get better." A feature-length documentary by me and @freydonia (collectively @nomediaco) of a dilated moment, not so long ago, that our bodies are maybe beginning to forget?
@anne_theriault Last work trip there I just booked the downtown Novotel on like agoda or something. It was totally fine, well located and not crazy pricy. Like, nothing thrilling but it did the job.
Oof but the tears this has me in. “Despite what is being transmitted to us 24 hours a day, every day, you can actually be strong and kind at the same time; those qualities are not mutually exclusive. You can look for beauty and love and put that out in the world.”
"All of you who found hope and solace and beauty and comfort in Low, and Mim’s voice, and the sound of those 2 singing together, working it out.
The sound you are hearing is: love can be hard."
Love to you, Zak. Cried all over again.

Working on this book over the past many years has been such a joy – so excited to hear the thrum of the presses getting ready to roll... Can't wait to get it into the world!
🎂 Exciting news! 13 years ago I wrote the first comprehensive essay on 'Design Fiction' (https://t.co/lscClDhvT9).
Shortly our book on the topic — 'The Manual of Design Fiction' — will be published! (Paper ordered. Presses inked and warming up!) (https://t.co/n2GStYFFD6).
"Russell’s art accepts the mutual struggle; it’s at peace with the unholdability of longed-for things and the is-ness of what is. It elevates me, lifts me out of bad habits of mind, and helps me to meet the world on its own terms..." @alexmolotkow 🔥🔥 https://t.co/D0iEPLHy9B
@briansholis @marvis_music Wow. I stopped scrobbling years ago but I love it so much that it’s apparently settled into some sort of quiet new ongoing utility? Must revisit.
This has been an excellent project to work on, excited it's out and getting attention - more to say on it later, but Michèle's got all the good reading in this thread...
