@edtechmathteach Why? Let people take care of you and help with your burden on hard days. I’m sure you help with theirs. Teaching is such an isolated profession; having someone who knows you, and cares enough to enquirer is a gift. You are allowed to have bad days

@MuinteoirChris@MrRobHistory I did all that myself. Most of it was stuff people were getting rid of or gave to me. The bookshelves were ones the library didn’t want anymore. The projection screen I made (I did home theater installs in m college) the led lights were $20 of my money
@MrDavidScales One man’s group work is another man’s collaboration. You can’t generalize all group work as bad and group work is collaboration which is one of the most looked for skills in the business industry. There was a great podcast on edsurge about this recently.

@ShiftParadigm That students in the past were somehow different in motivation and behavior than today. We seem to rewrite our past as we get older, but get high school friends together at a reunion and the truth comes out. Teens are teens. Just look at the themes in movies over time. Same
