Dear USA 🇺🇸

Are we willing to stop the same old excuses and change the way we train our youth players?

Yes, our women also. No more “it works for our women” nonsense as we all know that success was a product of other countries’ failure to support women. And even we fail our women in so many ways still.

Field by field, the status quo is so deeply rooted. The institutions do not care and have proven incapable or unwilling or both to improve the education of our young.

Clubs are merely a consortium of unsupported and isolated coaches doing what was done unto them.

Seriously. We are adults stuck so far in the past that we think going forward will happen in reverse.

I’m not waiting for the powers, the politicians or the pundits of soccer to change as their incentive to do so is non-existent.

We are going forward with a clear vision on how children best maximize their potential.

We have nurtured champions at every level of the game and on distinct continents. We have already proven our practice thousands of times over.

We no longer wait for acronyms to act. They will not do more than pad their websites with platitudes.

We are respectfully rebellious and we are players, coaches and parents with purpose.

@JohanCruyff inspired us and we respect and love him for that always. More than you will ever know.

However, TOVO is a family unbridled and no longer bound by twitter trolls or league burocrats.

We are passing on the left and welcoming all who care enough about children to leave the parking lot of complacency for the fast lane of the fabulous.

There's an absurd anti-Argentina misinformation campaign that's been running at full steam on the media. Here is the perfect example.

The media claims the Argentina team turned its back to Spain as a sign of disprespect. This is false. The team was in tears looking towards Argentina's core supporters section, where the fans were singing to honor them. They were all mourning. I was there, and can share videos of the moment.

Besides, there's no requirement nor tradition stating the losing team must stay on the pitch to watch the winners' trophy celebration. This is nonsensical. Losing teams don't do that.
