Pestilent Swarms is probably the strongest builds in Diablo 4 Season 14, combining incredible mobility, exceptional damage, and the current highest Tower clear at 142. One of its biggest strengths is its low gear requirement. You can reach Torment 12 quickly with relatively modest gear, making it an excellent build for both progression and endgame farming. Once online, it destroys every activity with ease.

Tener 50 años y meterte en la temporada 12 de Diablo IV ya no es jugar. Meterte en la temporada 12 es elegir un vicio con criterio.

Porque a esta edad en la que al final del día has hablado con el banco, con la compañía de internet, con gente que te dice “te robo solo un minuto” y luego te secuestra media tarde… así que cuando llega la noche, enciendes la consola y piensas:

“Sí. Hoy me merezco matar demonios”.

Te lo mereces de verdad. Lo sabes.

Porque Diablo, comparado con la vida adulta, es incluso sano.

En Diablo sabes quién es el enemigo.
En la vida real no.
En la vida real el enemigo puede ser un grupo de WhatsApp del colegio, una reunión absurda o un correo que empieza por:

“Hola, solo te escribo para retomar el tema”.

Eso sí que es terror. No que te salga el carnicero por sorpresa en una partida Hardcore.

Lo mejor es que con 50 ya no juegas como un chaval.
Tú no entras a lo loco. Entras con poco tiempo… y con pestañas abiertas.

A falta de 5 minutos de empezar la temporada, ya te has visto tres vídeos, dos builds, un resumen del parche y un tío de Twitch hablando como si hubiera descubierto la cura del cáncer porque una habilidad hace un 8% más de daño.

Y tú ahí, asintiendo, como si tu te hubieses dado cuenta antes que él, pero como no tienes canal de difusión no has dicho nada, y sigues asintiendo, pero sabes que no es verdad, no tienes tiempo para investigar, que lo haga otro.

Luego dices:

“Voy a entrar una horita”.

Sí, claro.

Y cuando abro una bolsa de patatas no como hasta que veo el fondo. (otro día hablaremos de los aperitivos).

Nadie entra una hora a Diablo.
Nadie. Y quien te diga lo contrario, miente.

Tú entras “un rato” y tres horas después sigues mirando esos dos anillos que te acaban de caer como si fueras un notario satánico.

Y parece que en vez de jugar estás opositando.
Y luego está el loot.

El loot nos humilla a todos. Sí, sí, humillación suma.
Tú puedes tener 50 años, responsabilidades, experiencia, dignidad, lo que tú quieras…
que te cae un legendario bueno y haces exactamente el mismo ruido que un niño viendo una bolsa de chuches.

“Hostiaaaaa”. En un grito contenido, porque sabes que tu pareja o tus hijos están durmiendo y no vas a despertarlos.

Se acabó el señor serio.
Se acabó el adulto funcional.
Sale tu verdadero yo: un mapache nervioso obsesionado con numeritos.

Y ojo cuando alguien te interrumpe en casa.
Porque da igual que estés salvando Santuario del infierno.

Siempre aparece alguien con:

“Ya que estás…”

Esa frase sí que tendría que ser un jefe final.

“Ya que estás, mira esto”.
“Ya que estás, baja aquello”.
“Ya que estás, busca un cargador”.

¿Por qué cada vez que escucho “ya que estoy” siempre acaba en una misión secundaria de mierda?

Así que esa es la verdad del gamer de 50 años.
Ya no juega para impresionar a nadie, ni para competir, ni para demostrar reflejos.

Un gamer cincuentero juega porque bastante ha aguantado ya.

Porque después de un día entero siendo persona responsable y funcional, lo mínimo que te mereces es encerrarte un rato, reventar demonios y recoger botín de colores brillantes del suelo como una urraca del averno.

Y sinceramente…
hay pocas terapias mejores que esa.
