@DaveWallsworth@British_Airways Pathetic. Safety grounds predictably trotted out with no justification. Pilots are able to make a judgment as to when it is safe to have a cup of coffee - or take a photo - in the cockpit. Deeply depressing BA doesn’t trust aircrew. Pure management bollocks.
Honoured to have been successfully led by @patrickbvincent QC @12KBW in Greenaway & Rocks v Covea & Others. The first case to practically consider how the domestic court interprets retained EU law now we can't make a reference to the CJEU for a preliminary ruling. Link below.
@DanielJHerman @madanpanks The estimated savings are arrived at in a 168 page report by the Govt Actuarial Dept whose authors assume that Vnuk would have obliged drivers to take out extra cover for private land. Wrong - has in fact been covered by motor insurers for decades. A large and surprising error.
As awful as 2020 has been, @12KBW has welcomed new tenants, members have worked on some of this year's biggest cases and we've won some awards too. Our year in review has reminded me how lucky I am to work with such brilliant and supportive colleagues.
