It was great having some former players at the game on Friday. Keller Stocks was able to be there as WIU was on a bye week. Egan Bender was able to make the game as an assistant coach at North Park. Saturday a couple former players were able to catch up at the Tulsa-Navy game

[Patrick Etherton @patricketherton]

It has been a fun weekend with the kids and enjoying some quality family time.

#Illini WR Brayden Trimble is still feeling confidence-building moments in his first college season of being healthy enough to contribute.

#Illini wide receiver Brayden Trimble on his most impactful game in college, with 5 catches for 57 yards vs SIU:

"It just felt good to finally get my feet wet a little bit."

[MTZ BRAVES FOOTBALL @mtz_football]

Some of our coaching staff was able to make the trip to watch former MTZ player @grantmcatee1210 play for Tulsa.

[Carson Gourdie @GourdieReport]

#illini Brayden Trimble: 5 catches. 57 yards. Almost had a touchdown

The 2nd year player continues to develop.

He's a big player. Illinois needs him and Hudson Clement to continue to produce.

Collin Dixon is great, but you need multiple weapons. The two showed up today.

Great news! 2028 Mt. Zion (IL) DB/LB Landyn Morrow let me know he’s planning a game day visit to Illinois for the Southern Illinois game tomorrow!

We’re a little bored during our bye week… so here’s some content for you! 😂🏈
