@glazingblogger Using AI would allow this to be done without a marker, and would instead rely on physical queues and camera metadata instead. At that point though, I wonder if it would be any more accurate than counting bricks!

@glazingblogger@InsightData I have no doubt that a very high percentage of people doing self builds wouldn’t touch uPVC. 20+ years of Grand Designs proves that! 😂 But what percentage of the total annual spend on UK fenestration is accounted for by these guys?

Certain products are hands-down better suited to aluminium (bi-fold doors, triple track sliders, lantern roofs), but residential windows aren’t the one of them imho…
