@Abouterf197543@JohnCleese@marksandspencer@SexMattersOrg As someone who wholly supports our trans community and has no time for terfs, you come across as a complete prat in this exchange - I see you had a photographer on hand too on what was obviously a pre-planned encounter. This sort of juvenile tactic helps our cause not at all.
@Maxine2xs@Councillorsuzie I couldn’t agree more about Susan Hall who just shouts down anything that doesn’t agree with her dim-witted view of politics and how anything good for this country can only be Tory related. We all saw how the last series of Conservative governments got so much wrong.
@J03_Bl0GG@afneil@Sheff36 Well, of course Ministers appoint - but that isn’t the issue here. The question is did either Lammy or Starmer know that Mandelson had failed his initial vetting. The PM says he did not. You need to present prima facie evidence that he did - otherwise you have absolutely no case.
@MichaelTakeMP Not sure what planet you live on but Johnson absolutely WAS a liar, on the floor too. Covid parties at No 10? Doh! Had it not been for Truss he would be known as our worst PM ever. Starmer, on the other hand, may be brought down by the Mandelson Affair but a liar is not.
@otokyo Yes to all aside from 19. Anyone over 55 (I’m 70) would likely have scored similarly. Don’t know anyone who owned an encyclopaedia which usually comprised multiple volumes.
@EssexgoonerMr For gawd’s sake, we left the EU & that didn’t work! What on earth makes you think that leaving the ECHR would make a shreds worth of difference? Do you actually know why it was set up in the first instance? It was set up to prevent the atrocities of WW2 in Europe from recurring.
@3YearLetterman@coachbrucepearl@PearlJam My, you are ill-informed. Firstly, we sell petrol in litres. Secondly we use Pounds not Dollars. Finally, and very strangely, English the language originated in … wait for it … England lol. You are so ignorant … we had thought we’d bequeathed you better genes than that …
@TrishHodkinson Brexit has turned out to be an unmitigated disaster with an enormous impact on the economy, felt in everyone’s pocket, the hospitality industry on its knees, the City weakened, jobs lost and immigration even worse. How many of those 17.4 million now understand they were conned?
@jhall_m25@brexitblog_info You don’t t really believe Trump is right, do you? About anything? If you do then I would have no confidence in your views about Starmer and Labour.
@toryboypierce@Kevin_Maguire Andrew - you are utterly wrong, especially today. Whichever Party is in power will need every penny it can find to get Defence spending up to 5% of GDP in the shortest time possible thanks to decades of Tory (and Labour) Government underspending. Their prime responsibility.
