Blumenthal: I have a responsibility to Americans for the actions of our government.
I'm seeking answers from our government as to what we are doing in selecting targets.
We know the results of the investigation of the killing of apparently 175 children in Iran. 3X
Blumenthal: Russia seems to be aiding our enemy intensively with intelligence and perhaps with other means.
China also may be assisting Iran. American people deserve to know much more than this administration has told them about the cost of the war. 2/
Blumenthal: This war will require boots on the ground at some point.
I am fearful.
That's the path that we're on right now.
This briefing was unable to answer my questions. 1/
Sen. Coons: The clearest winner from this war in Iran is Russia. It's stunning that Trump is on the phone with Vladimir Putin and spending more time consulting with him than he is with Congress and the American people.
Our team is now on its way to the Gulf region, where they can help protect lives and stabilize the situation. We see the challenges that exist now: the Iranian regime has effectively blocked the Strait of Hormuz – one of the main routes for supplying oil and gas to the global market. This is a major source of instability. No one in the world can yet say how long all of this will last, but it is important that the protection of life starts working effectively as soon as possible. Stability is important for us as well.
Those now seeking Ukraine’s help must continue to assist our own defense – first and foremost, our air defense. Last year we already proposed a drone agreement to the United States. This is the right way forward: to partner with us in the production and use of drones, and everyone now sees that there is no alternative to this approach. Ukraine has the greatest experience in the world in countering attack drones, and without our experience it will be very difficult for the Gulf region, the entire Middle East, and partners in Europe and America to build strong protection.
I ask everyone to please retweet and donate!
🇺🇦🧑🦼🇨🇦🥶My husband is a disabled veteran and, due to his medical condition, he is unable to work.
He is a former sergeant of the command and artillery reconnaissance battery of the brigade artillery group of the 54th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
He has suffered more than 20 fractures to his legs and pelvis.
We have three children.
🇺🇦🥶🇨🇦🙏
Our family is going through an extremely difficult winter.
We are Ukrainian refugees living in Manitoba, in a very old house with poor insulation. Winters here are long and brutal, and in extreme cold there is simply no way to adapt.
We have three children who need warmth, safety, and basic living conditions.
This is not about comfort or luxury.
This is about having food on the table and keeping our home warm.
In winter, life often comes down to choosing between essentials. We are doing everything we can to survive with dignity, but we can no longer manage on our own.
At this moment, we are asking for help only with food and heating.
Even a small contribution truly makes a difference.

In just 4 years, russia has murdered tens of thousands of Ukrainians, while making 11 million people refugees and internally displacing a further 4 million.

🕯 Rescuer Oleksandr Zibrov has died after being wounded in a Russian double tap strike on Kyiv.
The 36‑year‑old firefighter passed away after 18 days of fighting for his life, having suffered severe injuries on January 9 in the capital.
Zibrov, together with his comrades, risked everything to save people during the attack despite the grave danger. According to the State Emergency Service, he was a devoted husband and a caring father
Ukrainian athlete and actor Ivan Kononenko, who appeared in films such as “First Swallows” (Перші ластівки), “Crazy Wedding” (Скажене весілля), and many other cinematic works, was killed on the front lines. He was 42 years old.
The tragic news was reported by the State Agency of Ukraine for Cinema. It is known that Ivan had been considered missing in action since February of this year. He was killed on the Kursk direction.
“Ivan was not only a serviceman — before the full-scale war, he worked for many years in the film industry and the sports environment. He was part of the team of the legendary Vasyl Virastyuk, and was a prize-winner and champion of dozens of competitions, including Ukraine Open 2006 Olimp Strongman (Kyiv, April 23, 2006),” the statement reads.
This is what’s happening in Ukraine to countless elderly and sick people because the world is letting Russia do this to Ukrainians.

Air raid sirens, ballistic missiles, Shaheds.
My grandfather, 88, can’t go to the shelter. We can’t turn on his oxygen machine because there’s no power…
All that’s left is to pray. I tell him: “Hold on, it’s not time to give up. You’re strong.”
