@tesco I was appalled to find that at the checkout, the cashier reached into the bag, pulled the loaf out and scanned the barcode on the small paper sleeve around it!

Surely this is not at all hygienic and would not pass any food handling protocols.

@Tesco Hi. I went into my local store and saw that you did a Finest sourdough loaf. I was surprised to see that as it was unwrapped there were no tongs available to pick it up. So I carefully used a bread bag to pick it up and put it into another bread bag.
