He/Him. Gamer/programmer who sometimes writes fiction instead of functions. A third tidbit I can't think of, whose absence would make this bio feel too empty.
I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend putting this game on your radar. It is one of the best designed games I've ever playtested. And the trailer is one of the most well put together game trailers I've seen in a while (watch WITH SOUND)
One thing I implemented is a fake "eye adjusting to the light" effect when entering/exiting a dark area.
Not only that it looks cool, it also serves as a clear visual cue to let the player notice the passage. So it's not only a visual feature, it's also a level design feature.

Here's a clip of a challenge level centered around the ability "Twister", for Lightspeed Lina. I tried to put a spin on the swap platform idea in a way that takes advantage of the game's mechanics
My Christmas Eve gift to you is that you can play the first two full campaigns of Space Warlord Baby Trading Simulator RIGHT NOW, for free, in our demo.

@WritNelson Over the Hedge for the GameCube is very inspirational for me not because I loved it or because it was all that memorable, but simply because it is a good game and I thoroughly enjoyed it as a kid
Like a food court meal that really isn't *impressive* but it *hit the spot*
if 10% of the people who liked this post went on to buy the game, I would be fully funded for this month!
I'm working on some REALLY cool stuff and it would be a huge relief to be able to stop worrying about money for the month. big thanks to everyone sharing the post 🫶
Meet MARCHITA .

@RobinPoedev I feel like this and the quoted versions have very similar energy, you did a really good job translating it to a smaller size without losing anything (that I'm noticing). Therefore, I say smaller—but both are good
@SuperCitrusTV@rixor14@RobinPoedev so a strategy for making boss runbacks more tolerable for some players is to make it part of the challenge, to almost think of it as part of the boss itself 🤔
I wonder how much of that is pure perception rather than mechanical, how make it SEEM less tedious, more intentional
I’m delighted to announce Creepy Redneck Dinosaur Mansion 1: Re-raptored… and that’s it’s not made by Strange Scaffold.

@InvertedSilence@AggroCrabGames shame the game wasn't coming together, this music for it positively COOKS. If I wrote it I'd desperately be looking for some place to reuse it in
