USA, Canada and Mexico will have separate opening ceremonies in June for the FIFA World Cup 2026. Ceremonies will precede each of the first matches played in the host nations of USA, Canada and Mexico.

"Starting with Mexico City and continuing the next days with Toronto and Los Angeles, these ceremonies will bring together music, culture and football in a way that reflects both the individuality of each nation and the unity that defines this tournament,” said FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
