Easiness of programming shouldn't trump accessibility and inclusiveness. it doesn't have to be an either/or solution. compromise including transit as in Europe or Denver is possible:

Tale of 2 cities: @CityofVancouver (recently redone #KnightStreetBridge intersection) and #Lyon. One has an official policy prioritizing pedestrians and #bikeyvr cyclists above cars, but which one? @MayorGregor, @Dale_Bracewell, @WeAreHub... any ideas?

The proposed #bikeyvr #kitsbeach alignment is a vast improvement over the 2013 one. However to minimize impact on other park uses, the @ParkBoard should get strong insurance that the alignment along Arbutus will be done in the Street ROW, along lines suggested in picture...
