@instagram Any chance of displaying the IP address of whoever requested a password reset when sending out the email? I've received four such emails today despite making no such request and it would be nice to have some idea where the attempts to hack my account are coming from.
@Autoglass It's disappointing to see the long delay in between booking an appointment for a simple thing like getting a small chipped area on my windscreen seen to and you actually turning up.
Over a week? Really? The earliest I could book anything today was the 2nd June.
@gmail People have used https://t.co/o25yLnpS1N email addresses when registering with gmail for gmail recovery purposes.
One problem: I own the https://t.co/o25yLnpS1N domain and have not given them permission to do this.
Is there an email address I can send complaints to?
@SpamCop_net Why is it necessary to provide the body of the spam when reporting? It's full of tracking IDs. Redacting the headers isn't enough and removing them manually makes reporting unviable given the time it would take to do it each time.
@DisneyPlus Why are there unskippable ads on your streaming service? I'm already paying for the premium tier and this is getting annoying.
You do realise I assume that this sort of shit just encourages piracy? Why pay when people can just download it and avoid this sort of crap?
@AmazonHelp This doesn't really answer the question. The adverts at the beginning can be skipped and I am already paying to - supposedly - to get rid of them.
@AmazonHelp I'm still getting ads at the start when watching The Blacklist despite paying extra to get rid of ads. Why is this and if there are any exceptions where adverts get added anyway is The Blacklist one of them?
@HeathrowAirport A number of early morning flights arriving from the north east were sent to the south of Heathrow as they were descending to land. Why was that?
This is not freely given consent. And hiding this in smaller print is also questionable.
Why does the inclusion of SwiftAid not have its own checkbox on the form?
That way donors can deny any authorisation or permission for SwiftAid to access or use personal details?
@JustGiving why do you try to bundle SwiftAid registration with the addition of Gift Aid in a way that would seem to go against ICO guidance?
I can't add Gift Aid without also sharing my details and authorising SwiftAid to add additional Gift Aid donations on my behalf.
@DanNeidle Apparently I missed the small print on JustGiving which apparently uses SwiftAid, as presumably does whatever contactless service was used by Marie Curie care.
@SwiftaidUk So any website 'partnering' with you ought to ask permission separately for your involvement, and I should be able to deny that permission without losing the opportunity to donate or add gift aid to that donation.
@SwiftaidUk Is the email purporting to be from you legitimate and if so do you realise that claiming gift aid without express consent from me beforehand could actually be illegal?
@SwiftaidUk Having a single button to cover multiple uses might even go against ICO guidance too, especially when it involves the sharing of personal data with you and the creation of accounts using that data.
My consent was not freely given.
Note the last sentence. https://t.co/h8sSlkK7RH
@DanNeidle Out of curiosity what is the situation here? I'll admit my knowledge is extremely limited but can organisations like SwiftAid claim gift aid in this way without obtaining an explicit declaration from me beforehand and choose instead to rely on my silence as consent?

@SwiftaidUk I shouldn't have to do this.
The way you are claiming gift aid without obtaining the requisite declaration beforehand is simply wrong, no matter the motivation for doing so.
@SwiftaidUk I think that I've already said this, but you can't take silence or a refusal to click links as consent to adding gift aid, which is what you appear to be saying you'll do in the email.
@SwiftaidUk I was in hospital for weeks thanks to my kidney transplant. If this had been sent during that time I would have not had the chance to read it and decisions that could have tax-related consequences for me would have been made with neither my knowledge nor consent.
