SOLUTION 💡: With A8o, we don’t treat every combo the same: A8o with a ♦️checks back, while the other A8o combos mostly cbet small.
▶️ The ♦️ combo realizes equity better by checking : we can improve on ♦️ turns and don’t need immediate fold equity as badly.
▶️ Betting the ♦️combo blocks some of BB’s weaker ♦️ hands that may continue vs a small bet, so it’s a slightly worse bluff.
▶️ Versus a 12BB stack, we must be careful not to build awkward pots with hands that hate getting check-jammed.
