I don’t know if anyone still cares, but today alone 28 people were killed, among them my friend and his family, without any guilt. This is no longer breaking news, but a scene that repeats itself every day. They talk about a ceasefire, yet what we live through is continuous death, continuous lies, and deadly silence.
We are living the worst days of our lives, literally. No safety, no mercy, and no end in sight. How long will we keep counting the dead and being buried with them psychologically every single day?
What is more brutal than the killing itself is that when we went to bury my friend and his family, we couldn’t even find a stretcher to carry the bodies. There is no medical equipment in hospitals, and no building materials to make a grave. A human being is killed for no reason, and after death there is no grave, no dignity. Even saying goodbye has become impossible.
Our lives here are turning into a real hell, day after day. What is called a ceasefire is nothing but a trick to numb the world and calm the headlines. Speak about what is happening to us. Write. Share. Your posts make a difference and create real pressure.
If you’re wondering why we’re getting such insane record-breaking weather events like Storm Eowyn, the LA wildfires, the Valencia floods etc, then this is a good place to start. Unfortunately, we are all in deep trouble.

🚨There is so much #Climate news that it is often hard to zoom-out & see the bigger picture.
But every now & then you read a report that brings it all together & stops you in your tracks!
'Collision Course' by @djspratt is one such report. Here are its 10 key take aways: 🧵1/n
The incredible Chris Packham has stepped up, urging a ban on fossil fuel advertising and sponsorship. 🌍🔥

My first comment piece in @guardian is on a topic very close to my heart; the threat that the #ClimateCrisis poses to my local community in South Wales.
Here's a thread with a few extra thoughts from me 🧵
The Bill has been introduced to parliament by @DrRozSavageMP and will be read on 24th January
It needs at least 102 MPs to be in attendance - if they're not there, it fails
This is @zerohour_uk's digital week of action, so please get involved
Ask your MP to be there!
The Climate and Nature Bill is dream legislation and we - you and I - have the chance to help make it UK law
But what’s so great about it, don’t we have legislation on climate and the environment already? Well...
Here are my Top 10 favourite things about the #CANBill
I commend all the delegates, young people & civil society representatives who came to #COP29 to push for maximum ambition & justice.
My message to them:
Keep it up. The @UN is with you.
Our fight continues.
And we will never give up.
.@witneygazette we respectfully ask why have you failed to cover MP @cammaynard's well-attended meeting with local green groups to discuss climate change?
Why do locals complain about your lack of coverage of climate issues? Do you need a brush up on the climate crisis?
My message to global leaders at #COP29:
You must do more to protect your people from the ravages of the climate crisis.
Ultimately, only you can deliver on national climate ambition & action.
Only you can limit global temperature rise to 1.5°C.
2024 has been a masterclass in climate destruction:
Biodiversity destroyed in sweltering seas;
Workers collapsing in insufferable heat;
Floods tearing through communities;
Droughts ravaging crops.
All these disasters are supercharged by human-made climate change.
We need #ClimateAction.
And we need it now.
