@ForgotWeapons In the UK you often go on a hike to get to the plane. In Poland you aren't allowed to walk even if you're right next to the terminal so you have to get on a bus that drives via Czech 🤣
@rwiutcau@paxangloceltae The exact same argument applies to cars, but we still expect them to stop for pedestrians. Why are cyclists excused from following the highway code?
@barbicanman1@paxangloceltae@realhansard The ones with flashing lights are Pelican crossings. Zebra crossings are just road markings. Traffic is required to stop at both to let pedestrians cross.
@BillWiIdin Lmao, tips are for good service. Merely bringing the food to the table is literally the job description. Anything above and beyond that is deserving of a tip. How much of a tip depends on how much above and beyond the server goes.
@archer_rs He "won a massive majority" because people protested against the conservatives. He got fewer votes than Corbyn, who lost the election he stood in. It's incredibly disingenuous to suggest that Starmer had the support of the British people, he won because the Tories were so bad
@SarahCoombesWB Dumbest thing I've ever read. Personally I think everyone should be able to carry a knife, but to have different rules applied to different people is insane. Either everyone gets them, or nobody does. It's not hard.
@TateTheTalisman@Bushra1Shaikh PiS let in more non-european immigrants while they were in power than the previous government. They're all talk, much like the Conservative party in the UK.
@TheCinesthetic It's only a plot twist if you slept through the rest of the films. There's nothing subtle about the writing in the Hunger Games movies, they practically spend the entire last movie telling you Coin is going to become the next Snow. The biggest plot twist was the random zombies 🤣
