Senior Dan gave someone 10 years.
For an entire decade, he belonged to someone.
He wasn’t born in a shelter. He wasn’t always just another kennel number.
Somewhere along the way, he became a stray and was found neglected and alone.
By the time he arrived at the shelter, his skin was inflamed, his ears were painfully infected, and his body showed the effects of neglect. And now, after surviving all of that, he’s on a final notice. Simply because there isn’t enough space.
He still watches every person who walks by as if today might finally be the day someone chooses him.
He still leans in for pets & he still trusts.
🆘Tomorrow (7/12) his final notice expires and he will be euthanized if no one fosters, rescues or responsibly adopts him 🆘
