When I trade cards with literal adults, if a trade is in my favor, I call it out, and make sure they’re okay with a lopsided trade.

I believe it is human decency to try to not purposely receive more value than what you are offering.

It’s why honest vendors are straight up with market price and what they’re willing to pay. Yes, they are running a business, and they need margins, but good vendors are transparent.

Now you wanna talk about NOT making trade values known, AND compound by making it a trade with a kid? Yeah, easy for my conscious to side with the dad and kid on this one.

Everyone can trade and collect how they want, and they can feel how they want, but miss me with not wanting honest trading across the board. “It’s each parties responsibility to know the value of the trades” is another way of saying “if I can pull one over on someone, I deserve to do so.”

That’s just not how I operate, and I’m just sharing that.
