İlginç bir siteye denk geldim. Edebi eserlerin konu aldığı mekanları haritada görselleştiriyor. Dilerseniz zaman akışına uygun şekilde, adım adım ilerliyorsunuz. #kitap https://t.co/vHd1U8UW5Q
How does an animal decide when to leave a berry patch?
In the 1970s, behavioral ecologist Eric Charnov provided an answer with the marginal value theorem. This concept was later adapted by Pirolli and Card to explain how people search for information online, where a page represents a patch and a clue signifies "information scent."
In my new article, I explore the evolution of this idea through various domains such as web usage mining, sentiment analysis, recommendation systems, generative AI, and autonomous agents. I introduce the concept of the Ambient UX Agent: a system designed to recognize when a user is quietly struggling before they give up, and to intervene accordingly.

Putin: "Milyonlarca insan işini kaybedecek, meslekler yok olacak"
Bundan bir kaç sene önce kimse ciddiye almıyordu yapay zekayı. Dalga geçiyorlardı. Şu an bile olayın farkına varmayan birçok insan var.
Rusya Devlet Başkanı'nın söylediklerini dinleyin durumun ciddiyetinin farkına varın.
Most AI systems wait to be asked.
But some forms of help should arrive before the user has to stop, diagnose the problem, and formulate the right prompt.
That is the idea behind ambient agents.
In this case, the ambient UX agent.
Not a chatbot waiting in the corner.
Not a generic autonomous agent operating far from the user.
A session-bound agent that stays present inside the browser, sensing behavioral cues in real time to determine whether help is needed at all.
The key idea is that user struggle is often visible before it becomes explicit.
A click is easy to capture.
But hesitation, rereading, cursor drift, comparison behavior, and pauses often matter just as much.
These are not always events in the usual analytics sense.
Often, they are what I call non-actions:
forms of activity the system was never designed to notice, even though they may reveal confusion, uncertainty, or risk.
That is why I use the metaphor of the lifeguard in the browser.
The goal is not surveillance.
It is vigilant assistance on the user’s behalf.
When the user is on the verge of friction, abandonment, or an irreversible mistake, the agent should already be close enough to notice.
This piece comes from my work on ambient agents and from the book I am currently writing on the subject.

🇦🇺An Australian tech founder with zero biology background sequenced his dog’s tumor DNA, then used ChatGPT and AlphaFold to design a custom mRNA cancer vaccine.
A month later, the tumors shrank by half.
And this is just the start of AI medicine.
I'm joining @OpenAI to bring agents to everyone. @OpenClaw is becoming a foundation: open, independent, and just getting started.🦞

Peter Steinberger is joining OpenAI to drive the next generation of personal agents. He is a genius with a lot of amazing ideas about the future of very smart agents interacting with each other to do very useful things for people. We expect this will quickly become core to our product offerings.
OpenClaw will live in a foundation as an open source project that OpenAI will continue to support. The future is going to be extremely multi-agent and it's important to us to support open source as part of that.
