Today the plaintiffs filed their reply brief hammering home that this scheme is now untethered from any valid congressional power and violates the Second Amendment. Suppressors and short-barreled rifles are arms protected by the plain text. There is no historical tradition for this kind of registration regime. We’re fighting to end it.
