@achxvi Generating a good looking screen is solved. Deciding which screen should exist and what to cut isn’t, and when everyone gets the same polish for free, that’s where products start to feel different
@Jayyanginspires More people on the platform also means more noise. The personal brands that win now are the ones with a clear point of view, not the ones posting the most.
@levelsio The scary part isn't the hallucination, it's that it's invisible by default. When AI edits reality silently, the interface owes you a 'this was altered' signal.
@twtayaan This is the biggest questions I think about nearly every day: how will our society look like in 5 years.
AI will radically change how we work and collaborate, but the question is how.
AI isn’t great at creating new things. It’s great at the repetitive work: maintaining components, design tokens and keeping the overview. So I hand it that and keep the new stuff for myself.
@Denche2005 To be honest yes, I’m a designer and I really like to create new things. AI isn’t that good in creating new things, but very good in repetitive tasks like maintaining components, creating design tokens and overview everything.
@mitchellh There will be a huge gap between bad and good companies. Bad companies will produce ai generated ads. Good companies will care about craft and quality.
These days I do a lot of designing with AI. What do I mean by that? I’m building systems that AI can easily use (hopefully).
How do you approach this? What are your best practices?
AI made building easy, but it didn't make it good.
I think a lot about how AI will shape the future of design. My bet is that when everyone can build fast, good design becomes the biggest lever for fast moving companies.
Sharing what I learn along the way, and always curious to hear what founders, designers and investors think.
