as I run 100 kilometres in full firefighter bunker gear, beginning at the top of the City of Kawartha Lakes, starting at Fire Station 1 in Minden, ON, and finishing in Pontypool, ON.

The Tunnel to Towers Run was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001, after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers.

All shoes collected will be donated to various local shelters throughout
