A jury convicted Karmelo Anthony of murder for stabbing 17-year-old Austin Metcalf to death. Evidence was presented. Witnesses testified. Self-defense was rejected. He got 35 years.
That’s not a “legal lynching.” That’s justice.

Crying racism because the killer is Black and the victim was White doesn’t change the facts: actions have consequences.
Austin is dead. His family grieves. The system worked.

تعرب وزارة الخارجية عن إدانة واستنكار دولة الكويت وبأشد العبارات الإعتداءات الإيرانية الغاشمة والمتواصلة بالصواريخ البالستية والطائرات المسيرة والتي كان آخرها فجر اليوم، والتي استهدفت مجدداً المنشآت المدنية والحيوية، ومنها مطار الكويت الدولي، مما أدى إلى وفاة أحد الأشخاص وإصابة آخرين، فضلاً عن أضرار في المنشآت الحيوية، بما فيها بعثات دبلوماسية.

وتؤكد الوزارة رفض دولة الكويت القاطع لما تقوم به إيران من هجمات عدوانية سافرة تؤدي إلي زيادة التصعيد ورفع حدة التوتر وتقوض أمن واستقرار المنطقة، وتشكل خرق فاضح لقواعد القانون الدولي وميثاق الأمم المتحدة وقرار مجلس الأمن رقم 2817 لعام 2026.

وتشدد الوزارة على أن أمن دولة الكويت وسيادتها وسلامة مواطنيها والمقيمين على أرضها خط أحمر لا يمكن المساس به، مؤكدةً أن تكرار هذه الاعتداءات يمثل نهجاً عدوانياً منظماً، وهو أمر لن تقبل به دولة الكويت أو تتهاون إزاءه.

وتؤكد الوزارة بأن دولة الكويت تحتفظ بحقها الكامل والأصيل باتخاذ الاجراءات المناسبة للرد على هذه الاعتداءات الإيرانية الآثمة والمتكررة، بما يتسق مع القانون الدولي.
