@GlobalWresOrder Penn State alum and fan here. There are some really obnoxious fans. That happens when any team in any sport is a dynasty. But they're usually just a vocal minority. Cael and his coaches' style may not be every fan's cup of tea, but they aren't bad dudes. What's left to hate?

@zach_seyko You're hearing opinions from two different camps. The complainers when he was in school aren't the ones hyping him now. Also it was easy to use him as the scapegoat while he was at Penn State. But now, James Franklin is the easy scapegoat for everything that went wrong.

Why shouldn't any wrestler who qualifies for multiple age categories be allowed to wrestle for all of the titles? Don't we want the best in each classification to represent the US because they've earned it?

@WilliamsonNFL Steelers-Soresby speculation is moot. To simplify, if any group 1 teams offer a 3rd rounder, the group 2 teams will realistically have to offer a 2nd, Steelers would have to outbid all of them and any group 3 teams by bidding their 1st. They won't.

@ryderblocklover Almost everyone in championships is injured or sick to some degree. Some injuries or illnesses are worse than others, and impact their ability to wrestle at their best differently. Nobody is making excuses. Certainly the wrestlers weren't.

@allamerican1863 @zach_seyko It's not even close. I haven't seen the official numbers, but I think it's already locked. The only question is whether they can get the team scoring record, which I think is still possible, maybe even likely.

@Aj_piazza31 @TDC_Wrestling It's unfortunate that a lot of Penn State fans think so poorly of him. He does face an uphill battle to get in the lineup next year, so if he decides to enter the portal, it might be the best opportunity for him to wrestle.

@MarkWogenrich If 6 out of 8 advance to finals, that's a minimum of 78 more points (12 points for each second place finish +1 for each win), which is 173 total before bonus points. 6 wins, 2 tech falls, and a MD guarantees at least a tie for the record if I understand the scoring correctly.
