@jamescracknell I took my Dad to Annascaul just so he could have a pint in The South Pole Inn - the pub that Crean owned. So named so that he could wake up at the South Pole. His is an incredible story - involved in both Scott and Shackleton's Antarctic missions.

@sarajcox Years ago I joined a gym at work - on my very first session on the rowing machine I managed to row backwards over my t-shirt and was completely trapped. Someone had to go and find scissors to cut me out and the rowing machine was ruined!

@JuliaBradbury Walking Hadrians Wall with 2 mates. On section where path was a ditch running alongside busy road hidden from cars by hedge. 1 needed to pee so we watched out for other walkers - just as she pulled pants down, a lorry went past and honked his appreciation at being mooned!
