That's probably why Mayor Vico Sotto was disappointed and exasperated about the fluff interviews - he knows the entertainment and media industry so he expected more from Julius Babao and Korina Sanchez.

Pero sa bagay, nakakabulag nga naman ang ambisyon at kapangyarihan. She’s posturing a 2028 Senatorial run banking on DDS votes.

It would have been more prudent for the Senate to wait for the ruling of the Supreme Court on the motion for reconsideration filed by the House of Representatives. Instead, the Senate hammered another nail on the coffin of accountability — anupamang itawag d'yan, to dismiss, archive, o sa salita ng isa mismong Senador, kill the Articles of Impeachment.

We reiterate our call for the Supreme Court to reconsider its Decision. Even the highest officials must be held accountable for wrongdoings against the Filipino people.

Another possible procedural flaw of the motion to dismiss of Marcoleta: They are discussing this as a legislative body.

I thought they are going to debate this as an impeachment court. Marcoleta and other new Senators have yet to take their oath as Senator-Judges.
