Did you know Somerset's long coast makes it especially vulnerable to the effects of climate change? 😔
Here are three really simple ways you can start making a difference:
🍎 Buy local produce
🚲 Cut down on emissions
💡 Reduce your energy usage

@lee_boyce@jeffprestridge I’m upset about your article in the Daily Mail.@jeffprestridge
I have a heat pump in an 1875 cottage , it’s been insulated and fitted with the proper sized radiators. It’s great . Rural areas have no gas and have to rely on electricity, oil, lpg or woodburners or COAL🙀
@GBNEWS They are brothers, my brother and I physically attacked each other every day for about 18 years. We haven’t written a book moaning about family and catch up when we can including games of golf. It’s called family life.
@ShropCouncil No won’t help a lot of people have invested in property to rent . Not second homes . Houses are still out of reach for many people this will not help . Stupid idea!!!!
Once again we are relying on coal to keep the lights on. Our steel industry needs coal to survive. Why do Greens insist on us importing it when we could produce it at home and save CO2 on the transport?
I’m in the chemo clinic watching Rishi Sunak become the first person of colour to be PM. For a 1st generation migrant like me, born in Sri Lanka, it is a moment of great pride to live in a European country where this is possible. Racism is not over, but we’re on the right path.
The Prime Minister is right to provide a roadmap for an orderly transition.
MPs must now be prepared to compromise. It is our duty to provide sensible, competent government at this critical moment for our country.
