@tehTrunk One thing Newcastle could do is start charging the highest price for tickets in the league. That would increase their revenue massively and Iโm sure all Newcastle fans would be happy with that๐
@footballconfid1 Also spurs fans have to pay highest ticket prices in the league. When villa fans ask where the money comes from ask them if they want to pay the same as we do
@JohnSmithj3y9@1882_Tottenham No premier league voted for them (meaning majority of clubs voted for it) so not arbitrary. Villa and Newcastle were in better position then Spurs in 2000s but both were mismanaged and got them selves relegated, spurs didnโt, so had to play catchup
@AVFCStatto Do you get a trophy for that (yes I know you won Europa league but so did we) try building a new stadium which is multi purpose and brings in lots of revenue.not buying any players for 2 transfer windows, being in Europe for more than 4 years in a row. Etc food chain
@rebekkarnold Decided not to do that but spent money on players. Which may or may not mean theyโre more successful then spurs over the next couple of years. As no guarantee this rebuild will be successful for spurs
@rebekkarnold But they were, in the mid 2000s they were competing for Europe regularly. But mismanagement in 2010s mean they were relegated. So always playing catch up similar with Newcastle. They could have built new stadium and been more self sufficient
@rebekkarnold No having reread your tweet you did say if another team did this it would need investigation. Apologies, it does seem to be in discussion how are spurs doing this. But we have suffered for it believe me๐
@Billie_T A bit of love for levy. He might have been a stingy c**t that nearly took our club down. But without him we wouldnโt be able to do what weโre doing in terms of squad cost rules and revenue
@ufoundtom@WG_RumblePants Player retire, when time is up are you suggesting Morgan etc should still be playing. If players were retiring in late 20s I would see the problem. But all are 35 plus. Which is normal time for players to retire
