Did the Patriots have an easy schedule? Yes. Obviously. We all know the numbers. Here's why it doesn't matter:

This is YEAR ONE of this rebuild. You're supposed to get an easy schedule, that's part of the NFL. This also means next year they have a much harder schedule. In one year, the team will have more experience together and with the Cap Space available they can add even more pieces to the puzzle. The team is very young at key positions. They have talent everywhere. As the schedule gets harder, the Patriots will be getting better.
