Last week, I had the privilege of speaking at the YNE Marsh Awards, celebrating the incredible work of my volunteers across the South Yorkshire network.
It was especially pleasing to see Brian recognised for his outstanding 8 years of dedicated service.

Weโve been hard at work at Bramwith Lock, cleaning up and restoring the area. Plenty achieved - strimming, mowing, and a new wildflower area for bees.
Not quite finished, so weโll be back next week for part two.
Another job well done in the sun by the South Yorkshire Taskforce.
Commercial waterways in action - Exol Pride bound for Rotherham and Off-Roader bound for Goole on The New Junction Canal.
Freight still moves by water.

The South Yorkshire Taskforce team have installed a barrier along the Stainforth & Keadby Canal after previous flooding from the River Don caused erosion.
This barrier now helps protect the public while we await further remedial work.
Thanks to all involved!
