Alejandro Garnacho's loan move from Chelsea to Aston Villa will be the sixth deal between the two clubs since the BlueCo takeover in 2022.

Chukwuemeka, Kellyman and Rogers from Villa to Chelsea. Maatsen, Disasi and Garnacho from Chelsea to Villa. Combined cost of around £200m.

Chelsea offered £117m for Rogers in an owner-to-owner deal.

2 days later, Aston Villa signed Garnacho from them on a 4-year deal with an obligation to buy at £42.67m.

That puts the Morgan Rogers take-home at £74.33m. £6m less than Arsenal's Rogers valuation.

Good job Arsenal's ownership stuck to their value... because the Chelsea valuation had another deal baked into it.

Chelsea, not the biggest club in London, but probably the best at working the system.
