Hi, I’m Paul 👋
I’m a recovering 20-year software developer who’s always wanted to own a SaaS business.
That business is @clockkcom — automated time tracking.
I tweet about all the nerdy 🤓 parts of running a business.

Employee monitoring is not cool.
Many of of our competitors will show your boss exactly what you’re doing.
At @clockkcom we will never share any data we track with your employer.

Time tracking is 20% remembering to click the Start/Stop timer button and 80% trying to remember what you did when you got too busy for the Start/Stop button.
What you think you need to launch your product:
- website
- analytics
- landing page
- ad campaign
- domain name
- billing infrastructure
- incorporated business
- all the social media handles
What you actually need:
- a customer with a pain they’ll pay you to fix
- 👆 99 more
Time tracking isn’t a task.
It’s a culture.
And that culture is set at the very top.
This is the guide to creating that culture in your agency:

I had a bit of time — apparently about 26 minutes — to compare train tickets to renting a car for my upcoming Italy trip.
If this is what @clockkcom’s time tracking can do with vacation planning, imagine what it can do for your client work!
These numbers are shocking:
304 emails per week.
62 hours/month on meetings.
That’s the average employee.
And that’s pre-Covid.
It’s probably worse now.

Affirmation of the day:
Because of the things I am doing,
Because of who I am,
Because of who I will become,
my employees, my family, my friends, those in my community, and also those outside my community
will flourish.
Now that I have a child, I travel less often than I used to.
Instead, I spend more time embracing and researching the little travel I do.
Flights & hotels are booked. Now deciding between car and train.
Can’t wait to get to Italy again!
