Gary Lineker has had an extraordinary career on and off the pitch. A brilliant sportsman, an outstanding broadcaster and a wonderful human being.
For millions of people, @GaryLineker is the face of Match of the Day, but for millions more he is also the face of humility, warmth and decency.
He had the courage to defend the humanity of refugees and to speak out against the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza. That should be recognised, remembered and celebrated.
Gary will be a huge loss to the BBC, but we will never forget the compassion he has shown for others.
Thank you Gary.
After Kwasi Kwarteng (a former Tory chancellor) lied about @jeremycorbyn live on air yesterday in order to smear him, #GMB had to read out a statement from Jeremys spokesperson today setting out the facts.
We are calling on First Group's Hull Trains to explain why they've failed in their duty to operate safely - a driver, who suffers from PTSD after experiencing several suicides during their shifts, was dismissed when they raised safety concerns:

@premnsikka@ChrisCorney1 Always part of the long term plan for the NHS. See below and read Allyson Pollock's NHS Plc: The Privatisation of our Healthcare. Sold out to the corporations. It's not about caring for patients it's about public money going into corporate profits.

NHS work done by Private Sector
On the face of it a ‘good idea’ but wait….
£ spent is not then invested in the NHS, the private sector do this at a profit (increasing capacity) NHS long term capacity is lost, making NHS a more reliant on Private Sector
There's been lots of chatter in the mainstream media, and from certain MPs, in the last few days about trade unions.
