@amsterdammed - Loving BBC Unexpected Elements and the biometrics episode - https://t.co/8UGpntUP4o. The segment on the identification by gait using ML was very interesting. And familiar! #HumansGotThereFirst. A friend with prosopagnosia recognizes people by their gait!
Sea Otter 841 deserves a name. She’s not a number. No living thing is just a number. Better nothing than a number. I admire her sassyness. We’re invading her (shared) domain! Oh, and yes I’m a fan of @ThePrisonerUK - https://t.co/ameeTzEGXH?
I'm really curious. Do limited overs cricket teams have a designated bowler who practices bowling super overs, the way footballers practice penalties? Yes it's 6 balls, but the pressure is just different! @T20WorldCup#USAvsPakistan
Great to see @usacricket playing so well against @pakistan - great for the game. From a side, the USA team that is, that contested the first international game of cricket ever! Is #CricketComingHome, so to speak? Tense!
@audiogibbs@timwynn_@TubeandBerger@surjazz_ Anytime👍. Oh and I’m trying to get a feature request in to @iLokSupport to fix this. These things may not happen often, but when they do, things shouldn’t break if you have local or usb licenses.
To everyone suffering from the #iLok out[r]age. If you have USB iLoks then you can run locally *if* you disconnect your network. You may need to reboot. Works for me. I had PT, Logic, and LUNA all hanging. This should be a simple timeout @iLokSupport!
@nickmessitte@TravisShallow @iLokSupport Yeah. I think the license manager can’t work at all without the network. Mine eventually came back with “you’re not connected to the internet” which is not true!!! Sigh
TBH I'm also a bit gobsmacked that search for "at" iLok didn't provide "@iLokSupport" as a possible match, so that we can channel our feedback to iLok, rather than the unfortunate individual with said handle.
Meant to be read in the voice of one of the letter readers from the BBC TV series “Points of View” (https://t.co/XZ48sCtl2Q), hosted by Barry Took (https://t.co/2MunC1dakx), where BBC viewers’ feedback was shared by the BBC with its audience.
Why, dear @BBC, have you mutilated an excellent documentary and turned it into the worst form of televisual experience - a bland, impersonal and emotionless, exposition of facts.
