🚨 @UoSJournalism students 🚨
Here's a thread where I'll post some stuff I think you should listen to/watch/read because it's good/interesting/innovative.
I know, it's what Twitter has been waiting for.
Wales legend Rob Earnshaw speaking to @UoSJournalism students about his career, life and going from playing barefoot with balled up carrier bags in Zambia, to hat tricks for his country.
Sad to hear this. I will, though, think of Ralph and smile. He’d call you when he got to his car (one of many), when he got to the job, again when he’d done the interviews, once more after his piece to camera, and a final time to say he was heading back to the newsroom. A gent.
Ralph. I had the absolute privilege of being your colleague, but more importantly your friend. We shared so many funny times and I can still hear your laugh now. You were always a champion of me and others coming up in the industry. Love you lots mate and will miss you greatly 💔
Finally. Been waiting years for @DanHanzus & @BobCastrone to try and figure out what “raised on a diet of broken biscuits” means.
In my top three all time albums.
📝 We can confirm that manager Ryan Lowe has left the club by mutual consent.
We’d like to thank Ryan for his hard work and wish him all the very best for the future.

Victorious South Ribble Labour candidate Paul Foster says he never expected to end up in Westminster when he first started his political career as backbench councillor in the borough 17 years ago.
What a moment. What a champion.
As big an achievement as British sport has ever seen.
And brilliantly delivered as always by @nedboulting and the @itvcycling team.

You've probably heard this claim - both from @rishisunak and more recently from @Nigel_Farage 👇
UK has leapfrogged others to become the world's fourth biggest exporter! And all after Brexit!
Unfortunately the reality is somewhat less impressive than this sounds.
Here's why:
Tricks of the trade 📻… When I start my shift I go through the schedules, note all the bulletins I have to read, then work out which are into live programmes and which are into prerecorded ones. You can see my list here 👇The latter have to be second perfect, so I’ll write …1/4
