Lady at D&B: The domestics are $5 for a 22oz but we’re out of glasses. I can give you a 16oz and a little extra.

Me: Nah all good, I’ll do a modelo please.

Her: 16 or 22oz?

Me:…

35 years of Wrighty, and it could’ve all not happened had this one person broke him.

In a world full of Jim Cannons, always chose to be an Ian Wright ❤️

In 1990, Dolly Parton went on vacation in Ireland.

She walked into a local pub in County Kerry and delivered a flawless performance of Coat of Many Colors.

A heart of pure gold who made people smile across oceans.

Watching Lionel Messi at the 2026 World Cup, I found myself turning over one of the oldest questions a working life presents.

We are often told: leave when the ovation is loudest. It is sound advice. But I no longer believe it is the whole truth.

I believe that there is a time to step aside, when others must be given room to lead, or when we can no longer serve as we once did. But there is also a quieter danger: leaving too soon, not because we are finished, but because we are afraid of what a stumble might do to how we are remembered.

A stumble in the second act does not erase the first, and an exit timed to applause is no guarantee that history will remember you at all.

Messi could have walked away after 2022. Trophy in hand, story complete, the perfect close to a perfect career. Instead, he came back.

He risked comparison with the man he used to be, the possibility of falling short in front of a watching world, the chance that this second act would dim what the first had built. Argentina did not lift the cup this time.

But at thirty-nine, his composure and his experience still carried his country to a final. That is not a small thing.

His legacy was not diminished by trying again. If anything, it was enriched.

That is the deeper truth.

Do not retire from your purpose because you fear failure more than you love the work.

If your work remains honest, your contribution still matters, and you still have something left to give, then keep going.

A life well lived is measured as much by the courage to continue as by the wisdom to know when to stop.

Conquer fear. Keep playing the game of life.

Got a little emotional watching this. Like the credits rolling on a movie you don’t want to end.

Thank you Messi, no matter what's next 🩵

I said it before and I’ll said it again. These guys would die for that man. 1 person goes to Martinez and the rest swarm him 🤣

I could’ve been born in any era in history but God put me in an era where I witnessed the entire career of Lionel Messi, thank you.

This is the worst strategy known to man.

🚨🗣️ 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Joe Cole: "Messi facing England for the first time? We are going to put him to sleep. We are going to put him to sleep, 100%."

"I am saying it right now, England will reach the World Cup Final. We have too much pace for Argentina's strengths, we are going to beat them, I can feel it in my bones."

Surely the locket that turns back time could have been put to better use than going to multiple classes. Cmon man.

Thread to go with our Sunday Harry Potter Marathon.

First thought, need a series on what they did for the 12 years between dropping Harry off as a baby and him coming to Hogwarys. Were they chilling? Prepping? I mean nothing happened during that time?
