A great headshot shouldn’t make you look like somebody else.
It should make the photograph finally feel like the same person everyone else already knows.
That’s the standard.
If the person who walks into the room is more impressive than the person in the photograph, the photograph is working against them.
Your headshot doesn’t need to exaggerate you.
It needs to catch up to you.
“I’m not photogenic.”
I hear this constantly.
I don’t believe it.
Most people have simply never had someone properly direct them in front of a camera.
There’s a very big difference.
