@emollick Similar in education as well. Why pay for that 3rd party saas when custom apps can be made that fit the specific needs of your district/institution? I don’t know that it’s the norm yet, but my small team has already cut out probaby near 6 figures in expenses this year alone.

Teachers are always blown away by the ease of updating materials to be more interactive, but there’s still a bit too much friction with embedding html code on sites.

@patloeber I’ve been trying to build an accessible assessment reader for students but ran into issues with Batch API and tts, which the docs say is supported. These voice models are incredible, but in education every penny counts. Is this likely user error on my part?

@gaganbiyani In my opinion, EdTech 2.0 is created from within the system the tools are needed. Teachers bring me ideas, questions, or problems and in days I can literally build a solution for that specific teacher and their specific students’ needs. Ditch 3rd parties.
