@FSDdreams@Tesla_AI I was very confused when this happened, which is why I recorded the dashcam clip. Did it again a couple days later, but I just took over control and didn’t record the clip.
@elonmusk@gailalfaratx@EdLudlow What’s the plan for lithography? EUV? Multi-patterning? ASML High-NA tools are likely going to be a challenge to get with them being sold out/commited for as long as one could imagine!
View of Starship landing burn and splashdown on Flight 10, made possible by SpaceX’s recovery team. Starship made it through reentry with intentionally missing tiles, completed maneuvers to intentionally stress its flaps, had visible damage to its aft skirt and flaps, and still executed a flip and landing burn that placed it approximately 3 meters from its targeted splashdown point
@techAU It is very likely he turned the steering wheel before the point of impact, disengaging AP without using the brakes. You can see him tighten up his grip on the steering wheel just as AP/rainbow road disengages..
It’s real, quite a popular shot in snooker/pool. A lot of follow (top spin) is applied to the cue ball, causing it to grab and lurch forward after the initial contact with the object ball and rail. A similar shot is the “banana” shot, where heavy top spin causes the cue ball to curve after pocketing a ball at an angle.
