@SteveHiltonx You are LYING, Steve.
Ballots must be POSTMARKED by election day in order to be counted. They need to be received within a week after election day. A ballot dated before election day, mailed/postmarked on election day, and received 4 days after election day is still a valid vote.
@Siddall1Vikki@MCarbonaraFL Those of us who value our Constitution have a problem with this, because the Constitution gives control over elections to the states.
@BasedMikeLee So, now that you're listed officially as an accepted Christian religion, you're OK with them screwing over dozens of other minority faiths?
That's the definition of selfishness and evil.
@Swol_truth@nickshirleyy Pratt's whole campaign was about Pratt being unpopular. There is no scenario in which Pratt would have gotten 55% of the vote. There is no scenario in which Pratt would have won the mayor's race.
Dem voters are alot more informed than Republicans who get their news from X or OAN
@Swol_truth@nickshirleyy In all of CA, 25% of voters are Republican.
In LA it's more like 20%.
Current results show:
Bass: 34%
Raman: 29%
Pratt: 26%
Why do you assume Bass would get 55% of the vote?
Why do you think Pratt had any chance of winning in a city that's 80% Democrats?
@BasedMikeLee According to MAGA you are not a Christian, Mike. Now you're starting to understand why separation of church and state was a critical tenet inserted into the Constitution by our Founders.
@Swol_truth@nickshirleyy No, it was the voters that made sure it wouldn't happen. Yes, Bass got most of the blue votes. But for Pratt to advance there would need to have been more Republicans in LA than the 25% of the electorate that it is. With 75% Dem, Bass gets 40 of that, Raman 35%. Pratt gets 25%.
@RobSchneider At no point did Pratt get 0 votes in a vote drop.
Each candidate's vote total each drop was reported separately. When Pratt's votes were released, Pratt got 0 votes. Was that cheating against Bass? Nope.
@ArthurMacwaters - In CA, ID is required to register to vote. Identity is confirmed by signature when voting.
- Attestation of citizenship is required at registration under penalty of perjury and jail time.
- Your assessment of the likelihood of fraud is not enough. Proof of fraud is enough.
@garycp70 I'm not sure how you think asking questions to hold an elected official accountable to the people and to the truth is "disrespect."
She asked for evidence for his claim that voting in California is fraudulent. Instead of answering he insulted her and left. It's a valid question.
@BasedMikeLee You're banging your head against the wall, trying to reason with them. Welcome to our world. MAGA is a cult. Christian Nationalism is a cult. And you're not invited to join. If you let them continue to consolidate power, you'll be a 2nd class citizen too.
Grow a pair! Resist!
